He hit a pothole in my Mom's A5, flattening one tire. Rip in the sidewall, so the tire is done. The ~$250 tire is done.
To be fair it's not entirely his fault, as I've noticed all week long the roads in Houston are fucking terrible. Seriously, there are dirt roads in Wichita that are leagues ahead of these roads. There are off-road trails that are more forgiving than half the roads in Houston.
My parents are understandably annoyed, but I'm thoroughly entertained that it happened to him and not me. I do like the scissor jack that came with the car, it's way better than mine.

Your brother is a middle aged Asian woman? And that doesn't look like an A5

If that LeBaron says it's an A5, then it is an A5, and who are you to question it you hetero-cis-scum?

1) Discount Tire road hazard coverage
2) Yes, the roads in Houston are crap. I just got back to Austin from being in Houston for the weekend. Houston roads + stiff M Coupe suspension = fuck that noise.

Identifying me identifying mis-identified cars is my trigger!!

Can the money be recouped from the local authority who are responsible for maintaining the road. If so get a full inspection of the tracking, suspension, etc... and a quote for repairs.
I'm not sure of the system in the U.S. but you can in the U.K.

Not sure about where he is in Texas, but it can be done in California as well. Pics and documentation of everything is required.
